About Your Maui Photographer, Lesley
Based in Maui, Hawaii, Lesley Castle Photo is a Wedding, Couples and Brand Photographer.
Through photography, Lesley creates a dreamy world filled with color, emotion and texture. Her work has spanned the globe from Paris, the Caribbean and California, always on the hunt for the next adventure.
Choosing a photographer is like choosing a friend - you want to feel like yourself behind the camera, trusting of the photographer’s direction, relaxed yet inspired. When you meet Lesley, you will get this experience right away. Lesley brings a calm, positive presence to her photoshoots and events; it will feel like a friend is documenting your day, there by your side.
Lesley holds a Master of Architecture degree from SCI-Arc, a world renowned experimental architecture school in Los Angeles. She uses this background in visual arts to create editorial, cinematographic, and emotive photography. Lesley studied photography at Parsons School of Design in Paris and later in Hawaii where she was living, traveling and studying.
Lesley mentored with a Caribbean based wedding photographer shooting weddings in the US Virgin Islands and later learned from fashion photographers Clay Cook, Emily Soto, and assisted Jana Williams. Lesley shoots with a mix of digital, film and polaroid photography, looking for the in-between moments of life, light and emotion.
She is available for international work, weddings, fashion campaigns, editing, editorials and projects both big & small.
With a modern approach to wedding photography, Lesley captures the story of your love in a thoughtful, intimate, and creative way. The photos are of an editorial style, following natural and candid moments, yet curating your story in the most beautiful and artistic way.
